The Takeovers Panel is a peer review body that regulates corporate control transactions in widely held Australian entities, primarily by the efficient, effective and speedy resolution of takeover disputes.

Panel process

The Panel process begins when an application is made to the Panel. From there, a sitting Panel will be appointed to consider and decide the matter. Proceedings are primarily determined on written submissions.

In the spirit of reconciliation, the Takeovers Panel acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community. We pay our respect to their Elders past and present and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
