The Takeovers Panel has received an application from Mount Gibson Iron Limited (Mount Gibson) in relation to its affairs.

The Takeovers Panel has today published the reasons for its decision on the application dated 30 January 2008 from Golden West Resources Limited and the application dated 31 January 2008 from Falak Holdings LLC, in relation to the affairs of Golden West Resources Limited.

The Panel has made interim orders on the review applications dated 13 February 2008 and 14 February 2008 (applications) from Golden West Resources Limited (GWR) and Falak Holding LLC respectively in relation to affairs of GWR.

The Takeovers Panel advises that it has received an application from Falak Holding LLC (Falak) seeking review of the Panel's decision in Golden West Resources Limited 04 (TP08/07).

The Takeovers Panel advises that it has received an application from Golden West Resources Limited (GWR) seeking review of the Panel's decision in Golden West Resources Limited 03 (TP08/07).

The Takeovers Panel has received an application from Allegiance Mining NL (Allegiance), in relation to the affairs of Allegiance. Allegiance is the subject of an off‑market, cash takeover bid by Zinifex Australia Limited (Zinifex).

The Panel advises that it has decided not to make a declaration of unacceptable circumstances in response to applications from Golden West Resources Limited (GWR) dated 30 January 2008 and Falak Holding LLC (Falak) dated 31 January 2008. Fairstair Resources Limited (FAS) is currently making an off-market scrip bid for GWR (Offer).

The Panel has made interim orders on the applications dated 30 January 2008 and 31 January 2008 (applications) from Golden West Resources Limited (GWR) and Falak Holding LLC respectively in relation to the affairs of GWR (see TP08/03 and TP08/04).

The Panel has made interim orders on the application dated 11 February 2008 (Applications) from Allegiance Mining NL in relation to the affairs of Allegiance Mining NL (see TP08/06).
